About Texas Longhorns Australia

The Texas Longhorns Australia (TLA) was established in July 2008 and incorporated as an association in August 2010, following the inaugural meeting and breed sale. TLA presently has financial members located in all states of Australia, as well as Canada and the USA.

The objective of TLA is to:
  • promote the Texas Longhorn Breed in Australia
  • educate people about the many benefits the breed offers, especially to the Beef and Dairy industries in Australia
  • unite longhorn breeders and enthusiasts
  • give breeders a voice and provide a focal point for communication
  • provide a window for people to learn about the history of the breed in USA and Australia.
